Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Tom went to Bradyn's

Tom got to watch Bradyn win his 3rd wrestling tournament in a row.  Then Bradyn got home and he got really sick.  Tom took good care of him. Bradyn and Tom colored pictures together.  Bradyn kept trying to get Tom to open a Christmas present but I told them it was too soon -- no presents until Christmas! Bradyn and Tom had a good time.  Thanks for visiting.

Tom's Week-End with Adam

Friday, Dec. 10 --Tom and Adam had a snack of Dip-n-Dots as soon as they got home from school.  Adam wanted to teach Tom how to play the Wii Shrek game before dinner.  They had steak, noodles, broccoli and some cucumbers, yum!  We watched some TV and Mr. Och read Diary of a Wimpy Kid before going to bed.

Saturday, Dec. 11 -- After a great sleep the boys woke up and had 2 oranges for breakfast.  Adam had to go to hockey practice.  We decided Tom should stay hope where it was warm.  Then they played outside and went to Adam's cousin's birthday party.  At bedtime, Mr. Och read some more of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Sunday, Dec. 12 -- Tom and Adam watched a movie called Spy Kids.  We are waiting to see if we get tons of snow.  If so and they close the school, Tom will get to stay another night.

Monday, Dec. 13 -- Tom and Adam learned when they woke up that school was cancelled because of bad weather.  The played hoops in Adam's room.  Mr. Och played with them.  A snow day -- What fun!  We will have to wait and see if Adam and Tom will have school tomorrow.

Tuesday, Dec. 14 -- No school.  What a great time we are having with Tom.  He's been the best guest to have here.

Wednesday, Dec. 15 -- School today.  We had a great time with Tom.

Tom visits with Leah -- Dec. 3 - Dec. 6

Tom and my family went to eat at Quaker Steak and Lube after school.  Tome and I had a grilled cheese sandwich and goldfish crackers dipped in Ranch Dressing mmmm----my favorite.  The rest of my family ate wings.  Then we went shopping.  We went home and had a hot bath and went to bed.  When we woke up on Saturday my Mommy had already gone to work and Daddy cooked us scrambled eggs for breakfast.  We took my brother to a friend's birthday party.  Mommy brought a pizza home for dinner.  After that Tom and I went to my friend's swimming birthday party.  We had a lot of fun.  On Sunday we slept late and then played with balloons we brought home from the party . Then it was time to clean my guinea pig named Bugsy's cage.  We got to hold him.  Tom loved Bugsy very much.
I think Tom had a lot of fun with me and my family.

 Tom's Trip to Kayla's House -- November 23, 2010 - November 28

Tom went out to the backyard to play with Kayla.  He liked swinging on the swing set.  Tom really like playing soccer.  He also liked going down the sliding board.

Tom went for a walk with us.  He took our dog Toby on his leash.  Tom wanted to play the Wii.  He played Mario Cart with Kayla.  Mario Cart is a racing game.  The Wii is an electronic game you attach to your TV.  Kayla read the book Thidwick the Big Hearted Moose by Dr. Seuss.  This is a story about a moose that lets different animals live on his antlers. Tom said "I am glad I do not have antlers."  Tom enjoyed cuddling with Kayla while she read the book.

We went to Oglebay Park to see the Festival of Lights.  Tom loved all the bright lights.  His favorite was Frosty the Snowman.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TOM
Tom had turkey dinner with our family at Kayla's house.  He got to meet all of Kayla's Aunts and Uncles.  Tom watched Kayla's Mom and Day prepare dinner.  Tom helped to set the table.  Everyone went around the table and said what they were thankful for.  Grandpa Chuck said the prayer.  We all sat around the table and ate until our tummys were full.  Tom had a second helping of turkey.  We had mashed potatoes, gravy, turkey, sweet potato casserole, ham, corn, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie, cranberry salad, vegetable salad, pecan pie, apple pie, carrots, stuffing, and pumpkin roll.
Tom helped Kayla and her family put up and decorate their Christmas tree and decorate their house.

Tom played with Kayla's baby brother Evan.

Tom was trying to talk Kayla into pulling her loose tooth.  Kayla tried but her tooth isn't loose enough.

We hope Tom had a great time!  We will miss him.
